Kawana Park Eagles JAFL

The Kawana Park Eagles JAFL is a proud AFL football club located in Meridan Plains, Australia. Founded in 2001 by Peter Phelan and Luke Curran, the club initially started as Chancellor Park Eagles before entering the Sunshine Coast Junior League in 2002. Over the years, the club has seen tremendous growth and success.

As the club's popularity increased, a need for a new home arose, leading to a relocation to the University of the Sunshine Coast for the 2004 and 2005 seasons. The pivotal year for the club came in 2006 when an under 14 team was added, bringing home the club's first of many leadingships for the Eagles. The club found a new permanent home at Kawana State College, offering excellent facilities to cater to future teams.

In 2020, the club made another significant move to the Meridan Sports Complex, which provided the Eagles with two full-sized AFL ovals, complete with LED lighting and exceptional drainage. This relocation has allowed the club to offer its members top-notch training facilities for their growth and improvement. The complex also features a modern clubhouse, four change rooms, a canteen, coach's lock-up, equipment shed, and first aid room.

The Kawana Park Eagles cater to players of all ages, both male and female, from Auskick U8 to U17. The club welcomes new members to join their Eagles family. The club's dedicated board, including President Brett Wightman, Vice President Sonny Davies, Treasurer Nikki Marsh, and Secretary Sara Bravo, ensures the smooth running of the club and the best experience for all members.

Registration for the upcoming season opens on December 1st, 2023, for both returning and new players. An early bird sign-on discount of $30 is available until the end of January 2024. The club offers various registration fees based on age groups, ranging from Under 8 to Under 17.
