Introducing Katsiaryna Emeljana, a holistic women's weight specialist based in Beckenham. With over a decade of experience in weight loss for women, Katsiaryna understands the struggles and frustrations that come with trying to reach a healthy weight. She provides a unique and holistic approach to weight reduction for women over 30 when other methods have failed.
Before becoming a weight loss specialist, Katsiaryna worked as a medical doctor (GP) in conventional medicine. However, she realised that weight issues in women go beyond just lifestyle and nutrition and decided to further her education in nutrition and dietetics. She now runs her private practise, combining her medical background with her expertise in nutrition and psychology to help women worldwide achieve sustainable weight loss results.
Rather than prescribing diets or imposing restrictions, Katsiaryna focuses on educating her clients and building a personalised nutrition plan that suits their needs and preferences. She also delves into the psychological aspects of weight loss, helping her clients identify and overcome limiting beliefs and destructive attitudes that hinder their progress.
Katsiaryna's approach incorporates functional medicine, scientific nutritherapy, and cognitive-behavioural therapy, providing a comprehensive and well-rounded solution for her clients. In 2016, she developed the DoctorEmeljanaSystem (DES), a unique system of high-quality nutrition, smart weight loss, and rational sports. This system has already helped hundreds of women overcome their weight and health issues and is now available in English.
Katsiaryna specialises in addressing various weight-related issues, including excess weight/obesity, yo-yo dieting, compulsive eating, binge-eating, overeating, night food consumption, cravings, guilt after eating “wrongly,” fears and anxieties related to nutrition and weight, and constant calorie counting. She also works with clients struggling with low self-esteem and self-criticism.
