Katie O'Connell Personal Training & The Positivity Pod is a passionate and experienced personal trainer based in Cork. Katie's in-person training space is located in Mourneabbey, Mallow, Co. Cork, where she offers a range of services including personal training, nutrition plans, women's health training (specifically tailored for menopause and menstrual cycle syncing), as well as a variety of fitness classes. In addition to in-person training, Katie also provides online coaching for women's health and goal-specific training.
With over 10 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, Katie is committed to providing personalised and tailored training programmes for each client. She understands that each individual is unique and avoids a “one size fits all” approach, ensuring that personal training is indeed personal. Katie's philosophy is centred around educating her clients, empowering them to make informed decisions about exercise and nutrition for long-lasting results.
Katie holds a certification in Nutritional Profiling from London, which has enabled her to transform lives through nutrition and exercise. She is trained in a variety of specialities including Pilates, strength & conditioning, running coaching, TRX suspension training, strongman training, kettlebells, and swim instruction, among others. This diverse skill set guarantees that training sessions with Katie are engaging and varied.
Outside the studio, Katie enjoys the outdoors and has completed numerous races such as the Dublin Ironman, triathlons, marathons, and half-marathons. When she's not trekking Ireland's highest peaks, you can find Katie planning her next adventure or experimenting with new recipes for her clients. Katie's deep passion for health and fitness is evident in her commitment to helping clients achieve their goals and lead healthier lifestyles.
