Jitsuei Kai Karate Do has been a prominent presence in Christchurch since its establishment in 1980 by Pat McGregor Shihan. Pat McGregor was a highly esteemed instructor, reaching the level of 7th Dan in Jitsuei Kai, JKF Goju Kai, and Karate NZ. After his passing in December 2015, the club is now led by a team of highly skilled black belts who trained under his guidance for many years.
