John from Karate Academy Scotland is here to help you kickstart your journey in karate! Based in Elgin and Forres, John offers classes four nights a week for all ages. Whether you're a junior or senior, beginner or pro, he's got sessions tailor-made for you.

Here's the lowdown on John's schedule:

- **Mondays in Elgin:** Juniors take the stage from 6-7pm, then it’s the seniors' turn from 7-8:30pm.
- **Tuesdays in Forres:** Under 18s can train from 6-7pm, with over 18s stepping in from 7-8pm.
- **Wednesdays in Elgin:** Mixed grades get together from 6:30-7:30pm, followed by an adult beginner class from 7:30-8:30pm.
- **Thursdays in Elgin:** Juniors rock the dojo from 6-7pm, and seniors wrap up the night from 7-8:30pm.

John's all about traditional Shotokan karate, emphasising the essentials: Kihon (basics), Kata (forms), and Kumite (sparring). Kick, block, and strike your way to mastering self-defence in Kihon. Flow through the art of Kata to boost coordination and agility. Engage in Kumite to test your skills against a partner.
