Why not come along and try a Karate class at Shori-Kai Karate? Sensei Ian is offering a free trial class to all interested individuals, so you can experience the excitement and discipline of this martial art firsthand. To arrange your free trial class, simply give Sensei Ian a call on 07847 409062.
Joining Shori-Kai Karate is a simple process. There is a one-off lifetime membership fee of £30.00, which includes student insurance. This insurance provides up to £1,000,000 in third-party liability coverage annually. It is important to note that students or their parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that their insurance is up-to-date.
Karate classes are held on a weekly basis, even during school holidays, except for a 2-week break over the Christmas period. We understand that everyone has different schedules and commitments, so we also offer the option to purchase 12 pre-paid class vouchers from our shop.
Although it is not necessary to have a karate uniform when you first start, you may find it more enjoyable to train in one after a few weeks. Our Karate uniforms, also known as Karate Gi's, are available for purchase at £25. This includes a belt and our club badge, so you can proudly represent Shori-Kai Karate.
For your safety, all students are required to wear protective equipment during sparring sessions. If you don't have your own protective gear, don't worry! You can easily purchase what you need from our online shop, or you can use your own equipment as long as it meets our minimum safety requirements.
If you're interested in booking a free trial lesson or have any other queries, please don't hesitate to contact Sensei Ian. He will be more than happy to assist you and provide you with all the information you need to get started on your karate journey.
