6th Dan. Shihan John's dedication to the art of karate is evident in the high level of instruction provided at our school.
At Karat De L'le-West Island Karate, we pride ourselves on offering classes year-round, allowing students to join at any time. With three convenient locations in le-Perrot, Beaconsfield, and Mirabel, students have the flexibility to choose a dojo that suits their needs.
All classes at our school are taught by adult instructors who share their passion and expertise with students. Each instructor has been extensively trained by our head instructor, Shihan John Kalaidopoulos (5th Dan), ensuring that students receive top-quality instruction in every class.
Our school is proud to have certified black belts recognized by the WKO (World Karate Organization Shinkyokushinkai) in Japan. This prestigious organization is the largest of its kind, with over 100,000 members in 94 countries worldwide. Our students have the opportunity to compete at world-level competitions, with some even representing Canada at the World Championships in Japan.
Classes at Karat De L'le-West Island Karate cater to students of all ages and skill levels. Our Little Dragons program is designed for 4 to 5-year-olds, while our Kids program is tailored for children aged 6 to 11. Teens and adults aged 12 and up can also enrol in classes divided into Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced levels.
We offer special family rates to make karate accessible to all. Families with two students receive a 10% discount on our regular membership fee, while families with three or more students enjoy a 25% discount.
Head Instructor Shihan John Kalaidopoulos is a professional full-time instructor who is dedicated to providing the highest quality instruction to all students.
