Join the fun at Kapiti Coast Archery Club in Paraparaumu, nestled in the beautiful Nikau Valley! Field Archery is their game, and it's way more than hitting regular targets. Imagine aiming at life-sized models of animals, or targets hidden among trees and bushes - that's what you'll be doing here every Sunday morning!
Led by a passionate team including President Peter Bevan and Vice President/Field Captain Deneitz Geyser, the club offers something for everyone. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, you'll find loads of support and advice on gear. Plus, rubbing shoulders with National and World Champions might just take your skills to the next level.
New to the sport? No worries! The club’s got you covered with guidance and club bows to use until you’re ready to get your own. You'll be shooting through courses like a group of archery mates, similar to a golf round, making each shot a mini adventure.
The club’s located at 128 Mahaki Road after moving from Reikiorangi in 2021. They have regular events, including popular 3D target courses with unmarked distances and fun scoring zones. Picture yourself out there, channeling your inner Robin Hood, Katniss Everdeen, or Legolas while earning badges and hearts.
Members aged 10 and up are welcome, so grab your bow (or borrow one) and join the Kapiti Coast Archery Club to become part of a supportive and vibrant archery community. Let the fun begin!
