At Kanghan Combat & Martial Arts Academy, nestled in Nottingham, Tony and his team are on a mission to make the community stronger and healthier. They offer a fantastic range of sports and martial arts, including Taekwondo, Boxing, and Kickboxing.
Since 1999, Tony's academy has been boosting confidence and fitness in locals of all ages. The kids who train here even picked the name "Kang Han," meaning "strong as in powerful" in Korean. You’ll find the academy at Beardall Street, Hucknall, where they’ve grown their facilities over the years.
No matter your age or ability, everyone’s welcome at Tony’s place to train at their own pace in a safe and friendly environment. With over 300 members from age 4 to 58 training each week, Tony’s academy supports everyone, from the fit and able to those with physical and mental challenges.
The academy’s pride is Chief Instructor Grandmaster Ian Lennox, who holds an 8th Dan black belt and is a legend in British Taekwondo. Back in November 2014, Ian became the first Brit to earn the Grandmaster title in British Taekwondo.
Besides martial arts, Tony’s academy doubles as a dance and fitness centre. They even offer their facilities for hire to sports clubs at fixed prices, with both short and long-term options available.
Fancy getting involved or partnering with local schools? Tony and his team are just a call or an email away. Reach them at 0115 963 2008 or enquiries@kanghan.co.uk. They’re open from 16:00 to 21:00 on weekdays and 10:00 to 14:00 on Saturdays.
Just a heads-up, the academy is closed on Sundays – so no Sunday fun-day at Tony’s place!
