We pride ourselves on our accessibility, offering a walk-on, walk-off boat that is fully wheelchair accessible. Embarking and disembarking has never been easier! Our regular departure time is 8am, with a return time around 4pm, but we are more than happy to arrange alternative times to accommodate your needs. Yes, that includes night trips – perfect for those who prefer to fish under the stars!
Exciting news – our club has recently acquired a brand new boat that can comfortably accommodate up to 12 people at once. And if night fishing is your preference, we offer night fishing trips upon request. Now, that's what we call flexibility!
During your fishing trip with Kaimoana, we go the extra mile to ensure your comfort and convenience. Enjoy complimentary tea and coffee throughout the day, and rest easy knowing that we have toilet facilities on board. In fact, we even have a full-size cooker for those who want to cook their catch or bring their own food. And for those who prefer to leave the skinning to the experts, we have a fish skinning machine that can process various types of fish.
Whether you're a seasoned angler or new to the world of fishing, our experienced crew is always readily available to offer guidance and assistance. To make things even better, we provide all the necessary equipment free of charge. Our state-of-the-art fishing rods and 15lb lines are at your disposal, along with frozen bait such as squid, mackerel, and herring. No need to worry about extra costs or preparations – we've got you covered!
Speaking of expertise, our crew members possess over 40 years of combined experience in the fishing industry. With their vast knowledge, you can rest assured that you'll be in capable hands. Our skipper and owner, Dave Cotterill, has been involved in the fishing industry for over 32 years and holds a 16-meter skipper's license. Trust us, you're in the best possible care!
