Kaikoura Basketball Association

The Kaikoura Basketball Association is a non-profit volunteer-based organisation dedicated to providing a fun, safe, and social basketball competition for individuals in the Kaikoura community. All games are held at the Kaikoura High School Gymnasium on Monday nights.

The association offers a Term 3 competition, with games scheduled to start on Monday, July 17th. Games will take place from 5-8pm each week, and teams will earn two points for a win, zero points for a loss, and one point for a draw. Any team forfeits will result in a deduction of one point.

To participate in the competition, players must be 14 years or older. Registration for Term 3 costs $10, and players will be assigned to a team. Payments can be made directly to the KBA account by Friday, July 14th, 2023.

The Kaikoura Basketball Association would not be able to operate without the support of its sponsors. The association encourages everyone to support their sponsors, including Poppy's Parlour, Anchor Inn Motel, and BP2Go Kaikoura.

Mark Ingham serves as the nominated president for 2023, Erika Andrews is the nominated treasurer and secretary, Leanne Seddon is a committee member, and Rebecca Meikle is also a committee member.

They are the preferred provider for MotorSport NZ Digital.

The association offers various pricing options with no upfront costs. Clubs can choose from a free package or upgrade to a VIP package, depending on their needs and budget.
