Just Rock Brisbane is a leading dance school in Brisbane, offering high-quality rockabilly style dancing lessons for dancers of all levels. Located at Belmont Bowls Club on Narracott St in Carina, the club aims to provide a welcoming and fun atmosphere for all dancers to learn and enjoy this unique and energetic style of dance.
The dance lessons at Just Rock Brisbane are designed for dancers of all levels, from beginners to advanced. Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your skills, the experienced instructors at the club will guide you and help you improve your rockabilly dancing abilities. The Tuesday Night Lesson Schedule is as follows: from 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm, dance music is played and practise is welcomed; from 7:30 pm to 7:35 pm, a warm-up session takes place for all levels; from 7:35 pm to 8:30 pm, rockabilly lessons are taught for all levels; from 8:30 pm to 8:45 pm, announcements are made and a lucky door prize draw takes place.
Becoming a member of Just Rock Brisbane brings numerous benefits and rewards. Active members enjoy discounted entry to dance lesson nights, social dances, and major Just Rock Brisbane sponsored dances. Additionally, members can benefit from reciprocal discounts at the club's sister clubs, Just Rock Ipswich and Just Rock Bundaberg. The club actively raises funds through various activities such as raffles, dances, and major events, and these funds are then used to subsidise events for active members, including the Annual Dinner Dance, Christmas Party, and Club BBQs.
