UTS Hockey Club is thrilled to announce their Junior Turf Hockey sessions for players aged U11-U17. As an active participant in the North Area Junior Hockey Competition, UTS Hockey is dedicated to providing a supportive and enjoyable experience for all players. The sessions take place at various turf locations in Sydney, including Sydney Olympic Park, North Ryde, Kuri-ring-gai, Pennant Hills, and Concord.
The main goal of these sessions is to help players learn and develop their skills correctly, promote team play, and ensure a fun time for everyone involved. UTS Hockey warmly welcomes new players who are interested in joining the sessions and being a part of this vibrant and passionate community.
Let's dive into the competition details:
- U11's, U13's, U15's, and U17's will have their respective age-group competitions.
- Mini Stix (U9's) will also be included in the sessions, making it a fantastic opportunity for young players to get involved in the sport.
Training sessions will be held every Thursday starting from the 2nd of March onward. Here are the timings for each age group:

To give newcomers a taste of the action before committing, there will be a 'Come and Try' session on Saturday, 24th of February. This session offers a incredible chance to get fit, learn new skills, and have a blast playing with friends. Stick and shinpads will be provided, and mouthguards are compulsory (available for $5). Here are the timings for the 'Come and Try' session:

The sessions will be held at Pitch 2 of the Sydney Olympic Park Hockey Centre, located on Shirley Strickland Ave, Sydney Olympic Park.

- Uniform Shirt: $25
- Skorts/Shorts: $20
- Socks: $15
