The Junior Sailing Program at Royal Kennebeccasis Yacht Club is a fantastic opportunity for kids to get out on the water and learn the ropes of sailing in a safe and supportive environment. The courses are led by experienced instructors who are passionate about teaching sailing skills and instilling a love for the sport in young sailors.
With a focus on safety, theory, boat handling, and sportsmanship, students will not only improve their sailing abilities but also gain valuable life skills along the way. Sailing in Optimist Dinghies, participants will have a blast while mastering the basics of sailing.
The program runs for two weeks starting on July 2nd, with sessions held Monday to Friday from 8:45 AM to 4:15 PM. If cost is a concern, financial assistance may be available for those in need. At the end of the course, students will receive certificates to commemorate their achievement and progress in sailing.
