The Junior Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is the pinnacle of Club Volleyball in Queensland, offering an exhilarating display of talent and skill. Every week, players from the Brisbane Volleyball Club – The Gap take to the court to showcase their abilities and compete against the best in the state.
The highly anticipated matches of the PVL take place on Fridays, except U19 Div 1, which unfolds on Sundays. Winter is the season of choice for this exciting competition, and the thrill culminates with the State Championships. Organised by Volleyball Queensland, the league encompasses divisions for both adults and juniors.
To ensure a fair playing field, the age divisions are determined by the players' age during the current calendar year. For aspiring junior athletes, the BVC offers a gateway to the PVL through trials. And worry not, those who don't make the teams can still participate in the in-house Social Leagues or join the Junior Training Squad.
All teams, regardless of division, have the privilege of training at Kelvin Grove State College on Tuesday nights. This provides an excellent opportunity for players to hone their skills and build camaraderie with their teammates.
If you're eager to keep up with the action and check out the latest results, draws, and ladders of the 2021 season, you can readily find them on the Volleyball Queensland website dedicated to the Premier League competition. It's the perfect resource to stay in the loop and join in on the excitement.
For any further inquiries about trials or the upcoming season, please don't hesitate to reach out to the passionate minds behind the Brisbane Volleyball Club – The Gap.
