We cater to different levels of ability and experience, so whether you've never danced before or are interested in trying a new style, we encourage you to join us. Our Junior Groovers classes offer Ballet/Lyrical, Jazz/Hip Hop, and Acrobatics, ensuring there's something for everyone.
When it comes to our dance classes for this age group, we prioritise learning new skills and having FUN. We want both children and adults to have a stress-free experience. That's why we have no concerts, exams, expensive costume fees, or selective competition teams. By creating this friendly and supportive environment, we allow the children to thrive, have fun, learn new skills, and create wonderful friendships.
Let's take a closer look at each of our Junior Groovers classes:
- Ballet/Lyrical: In this class, students will learn the foundations of ballet, including posture, balance, coordination, and grace. They will also delve into the emotion, storytelling, and beauty of lyrical dance. Our qualified teachers incorporate props, imaginative storytelling, and fun games to teach movement concepts and keep the kids engaged and inspired.
- Jazz/Hip Hop: Looking for a fun, high-energy, and funky dance class? Look no further! Our Jazz/Hip Hop class will improve your child's confidence and coordination. They will learn jazz techniques like skips, leaps, and turns, as well as funky hip hop moves such as isolations, popping, and locking. It's the perfect class for your Little Groover to discover their own personal style and flair in our safe and nurturing dance environment.
- Acrobatics: Our dynamic Acrobatics program is sure to be a hit with your Junior Groover! Our qualified teachers will guide them safely through games and exercises that enhance strength, balance, flexibility, and coordination. They will also learn acrobatic skills like cartwheels, handstands, and forward rolls. This class is a fantastic way for kids to challenge themselves, learn new skills, and build confidence.
Here are our term dates for your reference:
Term 1: Monday 5th February – Friday 12th April
Term 2: Monday 29th April – Friday 5th July
Term 3: Monday 22nd July – Friday 27th September
Term 4: Monday 14th October – Friday 10th December
Please note that there are no classes on public holidays, and you will not be charged for classes that fall on such days. We also offer holiday workshops during school holidays, so make sure to visit our website for the latest information.
Now, let's talk about pricing. Our Junior Groovers Dance and Acrobatics classes are priced as follows:
- 1 class: $18 per class ($180 per term)
- 2 classes: $34 per class ($340 per term)
- 3 classes: $48 per class ($480 per term)
All Little Groovers classes are charged per term, based on NSW school terms. You can enrol at any time throughout the term, and midterm enrolments will be charged accordingly. All prices include GST.
Lastly, there is an annual membership fee of $25 (non-refundable) at Little Groovers. This fee covers all administration, insurances, and licensing for your classes. It will be added to your first invoice.
To make things easier for you, we offer direct debit (auto-pay) as the payment method. You can view all your invoices in your parent portal, and each term, your invoice will be divided into three.
