Mullumbimby Golf Club is excited to promote its upcoming Junior Program, a fantastic opportunity for young golf enthusiasts in the Byron Shire Council area. Affiliated with Golf Australia and Golf NSW MyGolf program, our program offers a comprehensive learning experience for juniors of all skill levels.
Led by a team of accredited golf instructors, which includes PGA Professionals and Community Instructors, our program runs for the duration of each school term. The juniors will enjoy lessons on the range as well as on-course play, giving them a well-rounded golfing experience.
As part of our dedication to nurturing young talent, MGC organises the much-anticipated Brunswick Valley Junior Open every September. This event welcomes aspiring juniors from across the Northern Rivers region to showcase their skills and compete against their peers. It's an excellent opportunity for our juniors to gain valuable experience and showcase their progress.
Several of our junior golfers have already achieved great success, having progressed through the esteemed North Coast Academy of Sport (NCAS) Junior Development Golf Squad. Led by OSCC Professional Chris Graham, and with the assistance of our very own golf coach, Steve Ryan, this development squad provides additional coaching support to our weekly Junior program. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a dedicated and qualified team of coaches guiding our aspiring juniors towards their goals.
Our clinics are designed for children between the ages of 7 and 14, and we guarantee a great deal of fun and learning. For a modest fee of $10.00 per child ($15-2 siblings) per lesson, our juniors can participate in engaging golf lessons that start at until 5pm. It's an affordable opportunity to introduce your kids to the game or continue their golfing journey.
