Led by the experienced Stephanie Cartwright-Randle, a renowned coach for the West Midlands Performance Centre, Warwickshire County, and Worcestershire County, the junior badminton club is a well-established and successful activity. Stephanie has collaborated tirelessly with Sport Birmingham to create these sessions exclusively for junior players who have a passion for badminton.
What sets this club apart is its affiliation with both XDC badminton club and the West Midlands Performance Centre. This means that our young players will receive top-notch coaching and guidance from a highly skilled team of Level 2, Level 1, county players, and volunteers. With Stephanie at the helm, the club also offers tailored coaching for individuals who require a more personalised approach.
We welcome all children who have an interest in badminton, regardless of their skill level. In fact, we strongly encourage our advanced young players to attend our adult club night after the junior session, as it provides an excellent opportunity to gain additional experience and learn from seasoned players.
The junior badminton club sessions take place on Sunday late afternoons, from 16:00 to 17:30. Please note that there may be a slight change in the start time during the Summer term. So mark your calendars and get ready for some exhilarating badminton action!
