Welcome to the June D Gill School Of Theatre Dance, a leading dance school located in the heart of New Zealand. Offering a wide range of classes and performance opportunities, we are dedicated to nurturing and developing the talents of each and every student who joins our dance family.
Led by our esteemed Principal, June D Gill, who holds the distinguished titles of Fellow & Senior Examiner with the International Dance Teachers Association (I. D. T. A), Festival Adjudicator, and Lecturer, our school provides a rich and comprehensive dance education.
Our curriculum includes Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Theatre Craft, and Street Dance, all taught in accordance with the syllabus of the I. D. T. A.
At the June D Gill School Of Theatre Dance, we believe in creating a warm, friendly, and supportive learning environment for our students. We strive to not only enhance their technical dance skills but also to instil a sense of confidence, discipline, and passion for the art of dance. We offer a variety of classes on Saturday mornings as well as during the week, catering to dancers of all ages and skill levels. In addition to our regular classes, we also organise bi-annual productions at The City Hall, where our students have the opportunity to showcase their talents on a professional stage. Furthermore, we offer international performance opportunities, allowing our students to gain valuable experience and exposure in the global dance community.
