JUDO EXCELLENCE is a child-friendly martial arts club located in Hebden Bridge, Calderdale. With additional clubs in Northowram and Elland, JUDO EXCELLENCE offers high-quality instruction in judo and martial arts to students of all abilities. JUDO EXCELLENCE offers a variety of classes to cater to different age groups and skill levels. The Judo Pandas classes are designed for children aged 4 to 7. These fun-based classes focus on developing strong judo skills, confidence, discipline, fitness, and coordination. Students have the opportunity to earn new belts every 3 or 4 months, and a free trial class is available for those interested in giving it a go.
For children aged 8 to 12, the Junior classes at JUDO EXCELLENCE aim to develop fitness, coordination, and confidence, while also providing opportunities to make new friends. The club conducts belt tests every few months, with the ultimate goal of achieving a black belt. While competitions are offered for those who wish to compete, JUDO EXCELLENCE understands that most students simply want to have fun and learn a valuable skill.
The Teen classes, designed for students aged 13 and above, provide an engaging atmosphere for students to train and work towards their black belts. These classes introduce more advanced judo techniques to keep students interested and progressing. Fitness is an integral part of the training, helping students develop strength, flexibility, cardio, and gymnastic abilities. Judo is truly a sport for everyone and offers much more than just physical activity.
The Adult class at JUDO EXCELLENCE caters to both beginners and more advanced judo players. The ultimate goal for adult students is to progress through the belts and earn a black belt.
