Welcome to Judith Fuge Dance School, Kapiti's favourite dance training facility. Established in 1990, Judith Fuge Dance Studios (JFDS) has been providing quality dance education on the Kapiti Coast for over three decades. With three studios located in Paraparaumu, JFDS offers a diverse range of dance classes for students of all ages and levels.
At JFDS, our mission is to provide a totally enjoyable dance education experience that allows for individual development at each level. We believe in fostering increased confidence, improved posture, and a deep appreciation for dance as an art form. Many of our former students have gone on to pursue tertiary training and professional careers in dance.
Our timetable includes over 80 classes per week, covering a variety of genres such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, hip hop, and performance groups. Our classes are taught by qualified and experienced teachers who serve as great role models for our students.
Registration for our 2023 classes is now open, and we encourage interested individuals to sign up before October 20th. Classes are available for children as young as 2 1/2 years old and progress through all levels, catering to both aspiring professionals and those seeking the many benefits that dance offers, such as self-confidence, improved posture, and friendships.
Each of our Paraparaumu studios is equipped with one-way mirrors, allowing uninterrupted classes while also providing the opportunity for parents and observers to view the sessions. We also offer optional external examinations and hold two productions each year. Our performance groups often participate in competitions and charity functions within the Kapiti region.
Term dates align with the school year, and fees are payable in advance for each term. We offer private lessons, and our gallery showcases the talent and progress of our students.
