Head instructor, Master Rod Johnson, is an internationally certified 7th degree Black Belt with over 25 years of experience. Master Johnson is a dedicated and inspiring instructor who is committed to the success of his students. He has trained and umpired at World Championships around the globe and is highly respected within the Taekwon-Do community.
Jon Sun's offers a variety of programs, including the Little Dragons program for children aged 5-7, the Youth program for ages 7-12, and Teen~Adult classes. These programs focus on developing important life skills such as self-esteem, confidence, focus, and self-discipline, in addition to physical fitness and self-defence techniques.
The academy also hosts events and activities throughout the year, including tournaments, special guest instructors, and social gatherings. Students at Jon Sun's have the opportunity to participate in belt testing and promotions, as well as attend workshops and seminars to further enhance their Taekwon-Do practice.
