Tai Chi is a traditional Chinese art form that encompasses self-defence, fitness, and improving one's physical and mental well-being. It is renowned for its unique body and mind relaxing properties, making it a beneficial daily health care programme. Through the practise of Tai Chi, individuals can increase flexibility, improve balance, and reduce stress and tension in their lives.
Qigong, another ancient exercise from Chinese history, is also incorporated into the classes. This mind and body workout aims to stimulate the flow of Qi (or Chi), the elemental life force, along energy channels and meridians throughout the body. Qigong provides a practical and long-term solution for dealing with the stress of modern living.
