Welcome to the JKD Legacy Academy, a top Kung fu school located in Keilor East, Australia. Founded by Sigung Ricardo Vargas, a 2nd generation student of Bruce Lee, our academy offers the opportunity to become a 3rd generation student of the legendary martial artist himself.

Jeet Kune Do (JKD) is the philosophical approach to martial arts developed and promoted by Bruce Lee. It combines efficiency, strength, and speed to intercept attacks directly, incorporating principles and combat skills from various martial arts from around the world. Sigung Vargas, personally trained and certified by Sigung Richard Bustillo and Sifu Jerry Poteet, brings decades of training in JKD's physical aspects, along with a master's degree in philosophy and theology. His unique approach to JKD, fitness, and self-development has helped hundreds of students from all walks of life achieve their personal and fitness goals.

At the JKD Legacy Academy, we are not here to mess around. We train long, and we train hard, always striving to prepare the body and mind for combat through developing proper technique, fitness conditioning, and the application of training methods developed by Bruce Lee himself.
