The Jing Wo Cultural Association, formerly known as the Jing Wo Martial Arts and Athletics Association of Canada, is a non-profit organization located in Calgary, AB, Canada. Affiliated with the Chin Woo Athletic Association, a global Martial Arts and Athletics Federation, the association aims to promote Chinese culture primarily through the art of Lion Dance.
Initially dedicated to promoting Chinese Wushu with the goal of making it an Olympic sport, the association's mission has expanded over the years to focus on preserving and promoting Chinese culture. The association provides a space for individuals interested in learning Lion Dance, allowing them to eventually join the Lion Dance Team for live performance events that showcase Chinese culture to the public.
