Welcome to Jeu de cheval - Hobart Horseplay, located in Tea Tree, TAS. With a herd of approximately 60 horses, we offer a range of services for all ages and abilities.
For school holiday programmes, we have something for everyone from Monday 18th December until Friday 2nd February. Whether you're a beginner or have intermediate experience, our 90-minute and 3-hour sessions cater to your skill level. We also offer Tiny Tots sessions for little ones aged 2-5, where they can learn about grooming and tacking up a pony, followed by a short riding lesson.
If you're an adult rider looking for a weekly lesson, we provide lessons for all experience levels. Our instructors will ensure that you have a fulfilling and enjoyable riding experience.
For those who prefer a more relaxing ride, we offer short led trail rides. Suitable for all ages and experience levels, this activity includes a gentle walk around our property after a short lesson. It's perfect for a once-off experience or as a regular activity.
Bush Kinder, our two-hour educational session, is designed for children aged 2-6. They get to ride a pony up to the classroom and engage in guided play activities. It's a fun and educational experience for young ones.
Our NDIS participation programme offers weekly sessions for self or plan managed NDIS participants. We provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals to learn and enjoy horse riding.
Saddle Club is a regular Saturday lesson where we cover all things horses and team work. It's suitable for ages 5-18 and focuses on building teamwork and horsemanship skills.
Looking for a unique birthday party experience? Our birthday parties include 90 minutes of horse time, which includes pony rides and games. You can also utilise our clubhouse and associated facilities. It's a memorable experience for children aged 4 and up.
If you're unsure about which service is best for you or a loved one, we offer gift vouchers. Let them choose the best option for their needs. Gift vouchers are available for purchase 7 days a week from 9am to 5pm.
