Welcome to Jesus College Boathouse, the premier rowing club in Cambridge! Whether you are a beginner or an experienced rower, we have something to offer for everyone.
For those new to rowing, our novice programme is the perfect starting point. Join us in your first term and learn the basics of rowing before moving on to our senior crews. We also have a strong tradition of sending students to trial with the University, and those who make the cut receive the best financial support available from any Cambridge college.
But rowing isn't just about training on the water. We believe in having fun and building a community, which is why we organise a variety of social events throughout the year. From bar nights to crew pastas and black-tie formal dinners, there is always something exciting happening at Jesus College Boat Club.
When it comes to facilities, we have you covered. Our boathouse is conveniently located just a five-minute cycle from the College's accommodation, making it easily accessible for all members. We also have one of the most extensive fleets of boats on the Cam, ensuring that you have top-notch equipment for your training sessions.
Under the guidance of our highly experienced head coach, Jonathan Conder, and our dedicated coaching staff, you can expect nothing but the best training and support at Jesus College Boat Club. Our success speaks for itself, as we hold the record for the most headships at both the May and Lent Bumping Races, and we have also achieved success at prestigious events like the Henley Royal Regatta.
We are proud of our rich history and achievements, and we are excited to welcome you to our boathouse. Whether you are a Jesus College student or someone who is about to join us, we encourage you to sign up and be a part of our thriving rowing community.
