Led by Faye, a black belt holder with 24 years of expertise and a BSc in Sport & Exercise Development, this club brings over two decades of dedicated training to around 200 members.
Faye's approach seamlessly blends traditional taekwon-do techniques with a modern, relaxed coaching style. Jesmond Taekwon-Do Club provides classes tailored to various age groups and skill levels. The Little Lions class, for children aged 4 to 7, teaches the basics of taekwon-do, focusing on discipline, perseverance, self-control, and respect.
For those aged 8 to 15, the Junior Taekwon-do classes introduce a dynamic world of martial arts, fostering leadership and encouraging students to set admirable examples. Adults aged 16 and above can join the Adults' Taekwon-do class, which emphasises mental focus and fitness, building mental strength and self-discipline.
