Sequence dancers use all the “Standard” dance rhythms, including ballroom, Latin, and classical dances, to produce named dances with 16 bars. In most areas, there are clubs dedicated to sequence dancing where committed members learn new dances almost every week. For beginners, there are friendly social atmospheres where basic sequence dances are repeated regularly, providing an ideal place to learn the basics before diving into more complex dances.
