Jenan School of Dance

Jenan School of Dance, located in Hunters Hill, has been a beloved institution in the community for over 50 years. The school is dedicated to providing a happy and friendly learning environment, where students can develop a love for dance. Under the guidance of Natalie Kuti (R. A.

D. RTS), the principal of the school, Jenan School of Dance strives to teach strong foundations of dance technique in various styles.

The school offers classes in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, and Hip-Hop. Students have the opportunity to participate in dance for fun and fitness, and Ballet students also have the option to be trained and take exams. The school believes that dance enhances learning in all areas of a childs life.

One of the highlights of being a student at Jenan School of Dance is the chance to perform at a variety of events throughout the year, including the annual concert held in December. Students also have the opportunity to participate in exams and showcase their skills publicly.

Jenan School of Dance is proud to be a Creative Kids & Active Kids Registered Provider with the NSW Government. This means that parents can use their Creative Kids & Active Kids vouchers towards their child's term fees, providing more opportunities for children to engage in the art of dance.

The school is conveniently located at two different venues in Hunters Hill. The Congregational Hall, located at the corner of Alexandra St & Ferdinand St, and the RSL Hall, located at the corner of Ady St & Alexandra St.

Registration for the 2023 classes is now open. Prospective students can visit the Timetable page on the school's website to check class times. In-person registration will also be available on January 24th, 2023, from 4PM to 6PM at the Congregational Hall.

Jenan School of Dance also provides a dedicated uniform for each style of dance. For Ballet, the Tiny Tots class wears a pink cotton leotard with cap sleeves, a pink ballet skirt, pink socks and tights, and pink ballet shoes with elastic. The Pre Primary and Primary Ballet classes wear a similar pink cotton leotard with cap sleeves, along with a pink cotton crossover.
