Janet Birmingham School of Dance is your go-to spot for dancing fun in Widnes. Janet and her team offer a brilliant range of Ballroom, Latin, Sequence, and Line Dancing classes for adults. Whether you're into Waltz, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Quickstep, Jive, Foxtrot, Samba, or even the Tango, you’ll find your groove here. Plus, there's up-to-date sequence dancing, and a special “Latin Line” solo class for those flying solo.

You'll find them at two main venues:
- **Upton Community Centre in Hough Green, Widnes:** Mondays are packed with a solo Latin Line class from 6:30pm to 7:20pm, followed by a sequence, ballroom, and Latin session from 7:30pm to 8:45pm. Wednesdays offer an improver/intermediate class from 7:45pm and an advanced class from 8:00pm to 9:15pm.
- **Alford Sports & Social Club on Manchester Road, Warrington:** Tuesdays feature a sequence class from 7:00pm to 8:15pm, with social sequence dancing, Latin, and ballroom from 8:30pm to 10:30pm. There are discounts if you join both Tuesday classes.
Don’t miss the Saturday Night Socials at Alford Sports & Social Club, with a spacious wooden dance floor and a licenced bar. Bring your own nibbles and dance the night away! For special events like the annual Christmas Dance and Summer Ball, make sure to pre-book.
Janet also organises exclusive dance weekends twice a year at the Inn on the Prom in Lytham. These weekends are packed with dancing, lessons, formal dinners, and more. Spots fill up fast, so book in advance with a non-refundable deposit.
