Janelles School of Dance is a vibrant and inclusive dance school located in the beautiful seaside suburb of Seaford. Situated in Talbot Hall, Senior Citizens Hall, 2-6R Broughton Road, our school offers a welcoming and inspiring environment for dancers of all ages and abilities.

One of the highlights of Janelles School of Dance is our commitment to child safety. We prioritise the well-being and happiness of our students above all else and have implemented stringent child safety measures to ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment. We are proud to have received recognition from the Victorian Government for our dedication to child safety in 2021.

At Janelles School of Dance, we believe in making dance accessible to all. That's why we are an approved provider for the $200 Get Active Kids voucher programme, offered by the Victorian Government. Families with healthcare cards or other government support can apply for these vouchers online and then use them to enrol their child in our fun and innovative dance classes.

Our dance programmes cater to children of all ages and skill levels. Our Ballet and Dance Play sessions for 3-5 year olds are immensely popular and filled with excitement and creativity. Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, children are introduced to a variety of new positions, routines, and songs. We even provide fairy or goblin wands and king and queen tiaras to ensure every child feels like a magical dancer.

For those interested in classical ballet, we offer classes ranging from beginners to advanced levels. Our curriculum follows the esteemed Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus, which ensures a comprehensive and well-rounded training in ballet. Students also have the opportunity to explore their creativity through free movement (modern dance) and character/folkloric dance components.

If your child has a passion for jazz and funk, our Jazz/Funk classes are the perfect fit. Open to juniors aged 6 years and up, these classes are a dynamic mix of the latest music and the newest and funkiest dance moves. Our experienced instructors create a supportive and energetic atmosphere, inspiring students to let loose and show off their individual style.

Janelles School of Dance is conveniently located at Talbot Hall, next door to Seaford Community Centre and directly behind the Seaford Village Shopping Centre on Nepean Highway. Our reach extends to all children in the South-Eastern Suburbs, including Seaford, Carum Downs, Carrum, Patterson Lakes, Chelsea, Frankston, Edithvale, Mordialloc, Aspendale, Mentone, and Mornington Peninsula.
