President Park Chung Hees government. As a result of his fathers diplomatic work, Mr. Kim had the opportunity to travel and live in different parts of the world, which greatly influenced his life and perspective.
Jae Hun Kim began his training in Taekwon-do in the early 1960s under Master Soon Ho Lee. He trained with his father at the Military Headquarters at Gyung Bok Shin, Korea. Mr. Kim moved to the US in the early 1970s and continued to study Taekwon-do at Central Michigan University under the direction of Master Mahmad Haque.
In 1979, he moved to Minnesota and opened his first school in Fridley.
Over the years, GrandMaster Kim has successfully competed in numerous national and international tournaments. He has also participated in demonstrations and seminars across the United States and throughout Europe. In addition to being a diligent competitor, Master Kim has been a dedicated instructor for over 30 years.
Today, GrandMaster Jae H. Kim is the head instructor at Jae Hun Kim Taekwon-do Midleton, Cork. With his vast experience and knowledge in the art of Taekwon-do, he continues to inspire and train students of all ages and backgrounds in the Midleton community.
