Children are held at various locations in East Lindfield and Castle Cove. The dance school, Itty Bitty Dance, has been delighting and exciting little dancers in the local community since 2012. With over a decade of experience, Itty Bitty Dance has become a beloved part of the community, providing a positive and fun dance experience for children.
At Itty Bitty Dance, they believe that dance is the best way to give children a natural passion for movement from a young age. Their classes focus on teaching valuable motor skills through fun and engaging movement activities. The teachers at Itty Bitty Dance are early childhood trained and understand the unique needs and challenges of preschool-aged children. They are patient and naturally enthusiastic, ensuring that each child has a positive and enjoyable experience in every class.
The syllabus at Itty Bitty Dance provides a fundamental education in dance technique and terminology, while still allowing children to have a great time with their friends. The classes are designed to be engaging and interactive, allowing children to develop their dance skills while also fostering a love for dance. The teachers are experienced in overcoming common preschooler challenges, such as separation anxiety, and encourage carers to be a part of the first few lessons to help children feel comfortable and involved.
Itty Bitty Dance offers a flexible and welcoming environment for both children and their carers. Carers are invited into the dance room during the first lessons to support their child's participation. As the child becomes more confident, carers are encouraged to wait in the waiting area, allowing the child to fully immerse themselves in the dance class. Carers are also invited to watch the last 5 minutes of each class, where the Itty Bitty Dancers perform a dance for them.
