Our team of dedicated instructors brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our school. Led by Ashlea Bell, who holds a BA (Hons) degree, our Principal, has had a fulfilling career in the performing arts. She began performing at a young age and received professional training at the Bird College of Performing Arts. Ashlea has performed professionally in the USA and on cruise ships around Europe, Central, and South America.
She has also choreographed extensively in Germany and held a position as Principal at the Bergen Dance Academy. Ashlea has taught dance and drama at various theatre schools in the UK and has made TV appearances for the BBC and Channel 4. With her degree in Drama from Lincolns Bishop Grosseteste College, Ashlea has taught drama and LAMDA Drama examinations both in the UK and internationally. She brings her passion and experience back to her hometown of Grimsby to inspire and empower the next generation of performers.
Jade Hebdon, our vocal coach and singing teacher, is a fully qualified teacher and music graduate. She attained her BA honours degree in Popular Music at Manchester Metropolitan University, specialising in music composition, performance, and production. Jade is well-versed in various genres, ranging from pop and soul to classical and musical theatre. As the lead vocalist for the band 'In Blue Skies', she has not only written and performed original material but has also had the opportunity to support world-renowned artists such as 'Lulu', 'Scouting for Girls', and 'Happy Mondays'.
Jade's passion for teaching has led her to dedicate herself to bringing the joy of music into the classroom, as well as working with students with complex special needs.
