Welcome to Ithaca Pool, a family-friendly swimming facility located in the heart of Paddington, Brisbane. Situated opposite Suncorp Stadium, Ithaca Pool offers a 25-metre, heated, outdoor saltwater pool with six lanes, a disability ramp, and a shaded shallow end. We also have a dedicated learn-to-swim pool attached.
At Ithaca Pool, we prioritise the safety of our visitors. Our premises are staffed with trained lifeguards who ensure a safe and enjoyable swimming experience for you and your family. We kindly ask all swimmers to look out for one another, especially when sharing lanes or supervising children.
We offer a variety of programmes to cater to swimmers of all ages and abilities. Our swim lessons cover a wide range, from babies to adults, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and confident in the water. Additionally, our adult squad training, aqua fitness classes, and aqua yoga sessions promote overall fitness and well-being.
Adjacent to the pool, we have a grassy area where you can relax, sunbathe, or have a picnic. We also provide shaded areas for those seeking respite from the sun. If you're in need of refreshments, our on-site caf offers a selection of great coffee, cold drinks, sweet treats, snacks, and baked goods.
Ithaca Pool is proud to serve as the community's backyard pool. We warmly welcome lap swimmers, aqua class participants, and families hosting special events and gatherings. Our facility is designed to accommodate a wide range of swimming activities, including aqua aerobics, aqua yoga (in partnership with Community Queensland), disabled access, kids' party reservation areas, and squad swimming.

During summer, which runs from September Holidays to April, we offer extended opening hours. Outside this period, we operate with reduced hours and temporarily close for six weeks in the winter months.
