Island Gymnastics Academy 40 YEARS STRONG About Us The Island Gymnastics Academy is pleased to be celebrating over forty years of gymnastics history. The Island Gymnastics Academy is a Not-for-Profit organization that was formed in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada, in 1981. The Academy offers pre-school, recreational and competitive Artistic Gymnastics programs. We have over 1100 athletes registered with GPEI anually.

The academy is governed by a Board of Directors that is responsible for the strategic planning of the organization. The staff of the Academy includes coaches, pre-school and recreation program directors, Mens Competitive Director and Womens Competitive Director. Each are responsible for the administration and delivery of the recreational and competitive programs.

The Island Gymnastics Academy in Charlottetown, known as one of the leading gymnastics clubs in Prince Edward Island, has a rich history spanning over four decades. Established in 1981, this Not-for-Profit organization offers a variety of gymnastics programs catering to different age groups and skill levels. From pre-school introductory classes to recreational and competitive programs, the Academy welcomes over 1100 athletes annually.
