Irvine Victoria Football Club

Irvine Victoria Football Club, also known as “The Westenders,” is a historic football club based in Irvine, New Zealand. The club was established in 1901, but its first match was played on New Year's Day in 1902. Irvine Victoria officially became a Junior side in 1904. For over eight decades, the club has called Cochrane Street its home ground, starting from 1937.

Before settling at Cochrane Street, Irvine Victoria led a nomadic existence, playing at various locations. These included Chrome Park from 1902 to 1903, Marress Farm from 1903 to 1904, The Riggs on Ayr Road from 1904 to 1914, Bank Street in 1914-15, Railway Park in 1919-1926, The Riggs again in 1926-1931, Railway Park from 1931 to 1932, and Whinney Park from 1932 to 1937.

Currently, Irvine Victoria Football Club competes in the PDM Huws Grey Division 3 of the West of Scotland Football League. The club's dedicated and passionate team represents it on the field, aiming for success and displaying skilful performances.
