The IPSC Club is excited to announce the upcoming IPSC Level 2 Grand Slam on October 27, 2024. This event is a great opportunity for members to showcase their capabilities and stagecraft to other IPSC QLD clubs. Additionally, it helps generate much-needed revenue to support the club's growth and improvement of facilities, targets, and the clubhouse.
It is essential for the success of this event that all members contribute. The club invites interested individuals to join the unofficial IPSC Match Design Committee, where ideas regarding catering, trophies, stages, and more will be discussed. The first committee meeting is scheduled for February 10th, after which options for the March shoot will be explored.
Prior to the event, there will be working bees to set up the range, with specific dates to be announced. Members are encouraged to submit their stage designs for the March 10th shoot or any other future dates. Please ensure that if you submit a design, you are present to set up the stage.
Designs for the Grand Slam are typically categorised as 3 small, 2 medium, and 1 large stage, with round counts mentioned. Feel free to email your design to Greg Murty by February 9th.
