The Royal Irish Yacht Club is gearing up for an exciting Beginner and Advanced Adult Sailing Programme. Whether you're a seasoned sailor or a complete novice, this program is designed to cater to all levels of experience. From mastering boat rigging to understanding wind direction, participants will gain valuable skills that will set them up for success on the water.
If you've ever dreamt of sailing in Dublin Bay, now is your chance to make it a reality. The 2024 Adult Sailing programme is now open for bookings, offering participants the chance to sail on the renowned '1720' Sportsboats. These keelboats are known for their safety and stability, making them the perfect vessel for beginners to hone their skills.
By the end of the course, participants can expect to have the confidence to crew on members' yachts in Dublin Bay. And that's not all - to celebrate their progress, course completers are invited to an exclusive evening of fine dining and wine in the Club's dining room, all included in the course fee.
The summer courses consist of 6 sessions each, running on Tuesday evenings from 1800 hrs to 2000 hrs. With course dates available from April to August, there's plenty of opportunities to get involved. The course fee is €320, with an optional access card available for a refundable deposit of €20 for easy Club access.
