Introduction to Freediving

Get Down Freediving, the local Scuba Diving club in Coolangatta, invites you to join them for an exciting Scuba Diving event. The club is delighted to offer the Introduction to Freediving course, which promises to be a fantastic opportunity for participants to delve into the breathtaking world beneath the waves.

This course is suitable for individuals with or without a diving background, as it aims to equip everyone with the fundamental knowledge and introductory skills needed for freediving. Throughout the course, you will learn various techniques, ranging from body and mind relaxation to finning techniques, duck dives, and equalisation. By the end, you will find yourself fully prepared for a breath-hold dive, ready to embark on an amazing underwater adventure.

The AIDA 1 Freedive course is priced at $600, and the package includes certification, equipment hire, study material, pool fees, and 2 ocean dives. Over the course of two days, you will have the opportunity to meet targets such as a minimum static, 25m dynamic, and 8m constant weight, although these are not mandatory. It is important to note that participants must be 18 years old or older (16 years old with parent or guardian consent) to join in on the fun.
