Come join Limestone City Cycling Inc.'s Thursday morning 'no drop' ride to work on your group riding skills. This ride is perfect for cyclists looking to boost their confidence in a group ride setting and will cover single, double, and rotating pacelines. It's recommended that participants have a certain level of fitness and be able to maintain an average speed of 27 – 28 kph on their own.
The ride kicks off from 63 Barrack St every Thursday morning, as long as the weather is cooperating. It's important to have Ontario Cycling insurance, but don't worry if you don't have it yet - you can snag an OC '3-day pass' for $15, which can also be used towards future membership. The route will follow the classic Berances loop, but in reverse, with an average speed of around 30 km/hr. This is a members-only ride with a planned coffee stop at the end.
So, if you're keen to sharpen your group riding skills and enjoy a nice coffee break with fellow cyclists, this Thursday morning ride with Limestone City Cycling Inc. is perfect for you.
