Introducing the OVA Southern Saints Athletics Club, a dynamic Pole Vault club located in the Southern Midlands Council! Our club takes part in the popular local track and field competition called Interclub, organised by Athletics South in Hobart.
Interclub is a fantastic opportunity for our members to showcase their skills and compete with athletes from other clubs. Taking place at the Domain Athletics Centre on Saturday mornings from October to March, this competition offers a thrilling atmosphere and a chance to excel in various events.
To participate in Interclub, all you need to do is enter the events you wish to compete in at least 30 minutes before their scheduled start time. You can find the entry forms conveniently located between the main grandstand building and the administration building. Simply provide your club, name, and recent personal best time to be placed in the appropriate heat or event.
For those new to Interclub, we have an exciting offer! You can try it out for two weeks as part of our 'come and try' period by paying a nominal fee of $10.00. This option is perfect for new members who haven't been affiliated with a club for a while and want to experience the thrill of Interclub firsthand.
We recommend arriving at least 40 minutes before your first event, giving you ample time to meet the entry deadline and even warm up or socialise with fellow athletes. However, if your event is scheduled for later in the program, you are not required to stay for the entire day. Simply ensure that you have entered at least 30 minutes before your event to avoid any disappointments.
