At the Institute of Dance, we cater to students from two years of age to a pre-professional level, specialising in classical ballet, contemporary, and jazz dance. Following the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, our small, capped classes provide a challenging, motivating, and empowering environment for our dancers.
Our mission at the Institute of Dance is to provide unique and tailored coaching to meet the specific needs and abilities of each student. We offer boutique-style classes where children have ample opportunity to explore the fundamentals of dance, create memorable experiences, and develop lasting skills. We believe in allowing each student to determine their own level of training, whether they dance recreationally or aspire to turn their love of dance into a profession.
As a registered school of the Royal Academy of Dance and an accredited provider for Active & Creative Kids vouchers, the Institute of Dance offers quality dance education for children aged 5 and above in classical ballet, contemporary, jazz, and private coaching. Our faculty consists of Royal Academy of Dance trained and registered instructors, ensuring high-quality instruction and guidance for our students.
Located at 27-29 Marton Street, Shortland, NSW, Australia, the Institute of Dance provides a second home for students, where they are free to embrace their love of dance and music in a warm and welcoming community.
