For adults aged 13 and above, the club provides a comprehensive karate and kickboxing programme with skilled instructors who have over 30 years of experience in a wide range of martial arts disciplines. These instructors have black belts in Taekwondo, Karate, and Kickboxing, and are dedicated to helping members reach their full potential.
The Junior Warriors Programme is designed for ages 9 – 12 and offers age-appropriate training in karate and kickboxing. The Ninja Kids Programme, on the other hand, caters to ages 5-8 and is available at the club's Dunstable, Pitstone, and Houghton Regis branches. The Family Class is a mixed class that allows kids and adults to train together, fostering a sense of unity and teamwork. This class is available at the Eaton Bray, Dunstable, Houghton Regis, and Pitstone branches.
Inspirit Martial Arts is led by Chief Instructor Sensei Simon Tyas, who has over 30 years of experience in martial arts. He holds a 3rd-degree black belt in Karate and Kickboxing and has also trained in Brazilian Jui-Jitsu under the Roger Gracie Academy. Sensei Mark Mackrill, a 3rd-degree black belt and WAKO GB qualified coach, has recently joined the teaching team.
The club is managed by Jon Wildesmith, also known as Big Jon, who has been with Inspirit since its inception. He oversees all new members on their journey and ensures that they feel welcomed and supported throughout their training. Additionally, Junior Coach Kai Tyas, a 1st-degree black belt, brings his years of training and competition success to the Ninja Kids and family classes.
