Hi my name is Antoinette Ceravolo and welcome to Inspire 2 Pilates and Fitness – A calm, small boutique Pilates Studio in Albert Park offering Private Studio Pilates and small intimate Pilates classes. My teaching and training is unique in that I will take a holistic approach to your health and fitness. I have guided and trained hundreds of clients in becoming and staying fit, assisting with rehabilitation, as well as increasing their understanding of nutrition. Exercise and healthy eating go hand in hand and if you struggle with one or the other, then I can help.
Professionally, my health and fitness journey commenced 13 years ago, and I am still as passionate as I was on the first day, because witnessing the lives of others transform and knowing that I had a hand in driving the changes is so rewarding.
After many years in the corporate world, and then having a major back injury myself, I found that Pilates was indeed the answer to assisting with my recovery. I discovered the combination of gentle exercise, mindful breathing along with recruiting the correct muscles was addressing my weaknesses and core muscles. The Pilates Method was making a huge impact to my recovery, and I was seeing so many positive changes.
I was already a Personal Trainer and decided that Pilates would enhance my knowledge to heal my own body as well as teaching it to others. This led me to a career teaching Pilates for rehabilitation as well as fitness. I work independently with those needing a little more care and specialisation. My special interest is with older adults and clients with special conditions such as Parkinson’s and Multiple Sclerosis.
The Pilates’ method allows for different exercises to be modified, and ranges in difficulty from beginner to advanced. Intensity can be increased over time as the body conditions and adapts to the exercises.
