Ingestre Lodges comprises two properties, Chetwynd and Talbot, which can be hired individually or together for small to large groups ranging from 2 to 16 people. Our lodges are located in the grounds of Ingestre Village, which is Staffordshire's first conservation area. These Grade II listed Jacobean style lodges are part of the New Stables, built by the 20th Earl of Shrewsbury in 1886. Most of the building is occupied by Ingestre Riding School, providing our guests with easy access to equestrian activities right at their doorstep. You can often see horses and ponies walking around the courtyard and grazing in the surrounding fields, creating a charming and picturesque atmosphere.
As part of the former Ingestre estate, the Lodges consist of three self-contained units for guest accommodation, all located within the designated Ingestre Conservation Area. The lodges offer a compelling combination of traditional character and 21st-century comforts, mixing contemporary with antique furniture from various films. Each lodge is beautifully furnished, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay.
In addition to providing accommodation, Chetwynd and Talbot also offer an exceptional and unique wedding venue. With accommodation available for the bride and groom's families, as well as the couple themselves, Ingestre Lodges is the perfect place to celebrate your special day surrounded by the beauty of the English countryside.
