Welcome to Indented Head Yacht Club (IHYC), the home of the Wreck 2 Reef and Sail Bellarine Regatta. IHYC is a sports club located in Geelong, Australia, and offers a range of sailing programmes and events for individuals of all ages and skill levels.
One of the highlights of IHYC is the Learn2Sail (L2S) programme, which is designed to introduce people to the world of sailing. This programme aims to promote water safety, teamwork, and an appreciation of the beautiful environment of the Bellarine region. The L2S programme offers a well-structured curriculum that covers essential sailing skills, safety procedures, and boat handling. Participants progress through various levels, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of sailing.
The programme is led by qualified and experienced coaches, who work alongside dedicated volunteers to create a fun and enjoyable environment for learning.
At IHYC, we strive to ensure that sailing is accessible and affordable for everyone. The L2S programme operates on a cost-recovery basis, and efforts are made to keep the fees as low as possible. Thanks to the support of the Community Bank Bellarine, we are able to purchase boats and equipment, further reducing costs for participants.
