Inchydoney Surf School, located in Clonakilty, is Cork's longest running surf school with 22 years of experience in teaching surfing. The team at Inchydoney Surf School has a collective experience of over 60 years of surfing in Inchydoney and beaches around the world. All instructors are certified by the ASI, the highest standard for surf teaching worldwide, and are local surfers who know the beach inside out, ensuring a safe and fun environment for all surfers.

Surf lessons at Inchydoney Surf School are for everyone over 8 years old and are just a 10-minute drive from the vibrant festival town of Clonakilty. The school offers adult surf lessons, under 18 surf camps, beginner surf lessons, corporate surf lessons, and lessons for all ages. Each lesson lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes, providing plenty of time to get in the water and start surfing.

All lessons are aimed at beginners, so no prior experience is necessary. For those looking to advance their surf skills, the school offers guidance to improve techniques and make the most out of each surfing session. Inchydoney Surf School prides itself on providing a safe environment for learning to surf, with all necessary equipment such as surfboards and wetsuits included in the lessons. The surfboards provided are 7ft to 9ft soft boards, designed to help surfers maximise their performance in varying conditions.
