The gym is owned and run by local sports professionals, including Ian Kirke and Chris Jennings. Ian Kirke, a former Leeds Rhinos Rugby Player and International Strength and Conditioner, brings his expertise and experience to the gym. Chris Jennings, a strength and conditioning specialist and coach, is also an elite powerlifter and British record holder. Together, they offer a rare insight into the world of fitness and create a gym environment that caters to the needs of athletes of all levels.

Powerlifting equipment includes IPF combo racks, calibrated plates, monolifts, deadlift platforms, and power bars. For strongman and strongwoman training, there are logs, yokes, farmers' handles, atlas stones, and other speciality equipment. In addition, Implexus Gym offers a variety of general gym equipment, including dual cables, cardio machines, dumbbells, benches, bumper plates, kettlebells, and more.
Implexus Gym also offers additional facilities to enhance the overall fitness experience. These include an infrared sauna to aid recovery, a café serving fresh coffee, male and female changing rooms, a protein bar with a range of nutritional products, and a physiotherapy clinic.
